Our Mission & Purpose

Fifty-Three: Five strives to:

• -Demonstrate our love for God by loving and serving those in need.
• -Minister to those in need of mercy, by providing spiritual and material assistance.
• -Provide a way for those who follow Jesus to act with mercy and compassion toward someone less fortunate.
• -Give without regard to the race, the nationality or the creed of those we serve.
• -Maintain the highest ethical standards by having an organization of all volunteers.
• -Ensure our donors that 100% of what they give goes directly to people in need.

Who we are

We are an organization of people doing our best to follow Jesus; Catholics and Protestants united and driven by our love for God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our name was inspired by a Bible verse. We believe this verse describes the ultimate act of self-giving love by God himself to save humanity: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that made us whole, and with his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Fifty-Three: Five will strive daily to be servants of the Church by promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will strive daily be bear witness to God’s love through his Son Jesus Christ, by providing spiritual and material assistance to those in need.
